Healesville Sanctuary

stupid animal (not wallaby) and baby
They provide these cool statues of the animals just in case you don't actually see any real ones. Please note the
baby's head to the right of Madeleine's photo. The little kid wanted to touch but Madeleine wouldn't let him.

what's up with the cropping?
There was a koala in this photo but I cropped it out.

Wilson's Promontory

Farther south
Ann, Kevin, Angela, Luke (me), Chris and Madeleine at South Point in the Prom. This is as far south as you can go on mainland Australia. If I ever get to urinate on West Point, North Point and East Point then I'll have the complete set.

so bright
Madeleine and Luke over-looking the lighthouse.

amazing
The vista of the Prom's lighthouse. What a strange place. The lady minding the place was clearly mad. Scroll sideways for a dodgy reconstruction of a 120 degree view.

General

no girls
June 2002: The Melbourne Mozilla v1.0 Launch Party at PA's ... in Melbourne. I like to think I carry my serious computer side with a certain amount of class. Not many people would go to a spontaneous party for a piece of hippie software. Not many people at all, and surprisingly, even less women.

so cold
June 2002: A few hours after the mozilla party photo, here I am with a different group of friends, drinking at a boutique brewery. I nearly froze to death that evening. I also got no exam study done.

it was the best of times, it was the blurst of times.
June 2002: At Sarah's (pictured) house. Her sister Liz was trying to write an essay on Dickens during that party, but every time she left the room we changed it. heh heh heh. Actually, it wasn't a party although I had been led to believe it was. The first Liz and Sarah knew of it was when two blokes (Peter and me) showed up on their doorstep with a slab and a half. We were the only two "guests" that evening. I got no study done.

MU sucks
June 2002: I believe that this is a world first!!! A photo of Melbourne University students going in to their exams (at the showgrounds). I realise from this photo of Marcus and me that there is a reason there are not more photos of students just before exams ... they're angry, spiteful people who haven't showered all week.

And one from the vaults:

Well, spin my nipple nuts and send me to Alaska ... a special guest star at Dodgyville
This photo is from about 1993 or 1994 (I think) and is of me with Kryten from "Red Dwarf".
