Bench Tech/Customer Support Representative/NT Deployment/Tivoli. Responsible for creating the "Gold" Standard NT 4.0 Clone images for a 12,000+ network. Receive new and older computers and install components, and test units. Install NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 clones with standard apps, add units to network, and push Business Unit software packages to each unit via IBM Tivoli "pushes", in a GUI and Unix scripted environment. Perform after-push quality assurance on each unit with my own Q/A command scripts, and hand-load software as necessary. Also deliver these same units to customers, replacing their old units. Other responsibilities included some inventory of laptops and accessories, and technical documentation of the cloning and installation procedures.

Provides phone, e-mail and on-site assistance to over 700 members of the Department of Defense Health Affairs network in Virginia and at the Pentagon. One of three qualified Miniature Electronic Repair Technicians. Filled in as Leading Petty Officer for a 25-man division. Assigned to Persian Gulf from April to September.

Instructor, Curriculum Developer, PC Specialist. Taught Digital Electronics to 25 person classes. Did Curriculum development and revision of the course content. Assigned to a special program involving Multi-media course development. Supervised a five-person shop that was responsible for installation, software and hardware maintenance and repair of over 200 personal computers, and a Unix-based LAN system.

Supervised a 25 man division, maintained and repaired a 2.7 million dollar Close-In Weapons self-defense system, and participated in the development of a newer missile-based self-defense system (Rolling Airframe Missile System). PC specialist, and repairman for 31 standalone PC’s.

Work Center Supervisor. Responsible for managing 18-20 personnel and maintaining eight different sophisticated training simulators used to train Sonar Technicians in finding and destroying hostile submarines.

Medical Hold Admin., Respiratory Therapist. Responsible for maintaining records for personnel who were in a Medical Holding Status. Transferred to the Respiratory Therapy department. Became the Department Head of Respiratory Therapy, managing eight to fifteen therapists and the entire ventilator care patients in the hospital, including neonatal patients. Received a Naval Letter of Commendation for services rendered.

Licensed Respiratory Therapist. Employed by the University of California Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapist on a per diem, or part-time basis. Responsible for providing basic Respiratory Care to patients throughout the hospital, and for providing aerosol treatments in the Emergency Room. Trained in using a hand-held, radio transmitting patient data system.
