Swallow the Needle - August 29th, 2000

screaming lightning
the sky thunders violet
swirling, contorting, morphing ground
laws are sins
content as chaos
stripped souls whoring their memories
you are crammed in a dark cave
punctured and cut
bruised and tangled
your wired face a frozen smile
tears streak down, become icicles
as your bones slowly break
and everyone laughs at you
you find yourself sleeping on the treadmill
eyes burned out
finger nails snapped off
used condoms fed to your gaping grin
a thorned phallus squeezed into your ass
dancing horrors shout in your ears
you finally wish you hadn't come
the smell of rot and disease puke into your nose
and the ground breaks open
to reveal my iron door
one would gasp with glee
but you're now too afraid to set me free
trembling skeleton and flaccid skin
you open the door and let it begin
"I thought I loved you, I swore I did!"
"Not when your dreams let loose the dead."
destroyed, lonely, I fly away
regretting you awoke to find today
in my darkest hour, I scream for love
but when I open my eyes
all I see is a bleeding dove 1
