Many pantheons of divinities are worshipped on Oerth. Some of these faiths spring from vastly different cultures and promote totally different ideologies. Since the gods of one faith are not usually interchangeable with the gods of another faith, often clerics and druids of a given god have tell-tale spells, abilities, limitations, etc. The following is a list of some of these major religious and cultural groups. If you're playing a character with a priestly bent PLEASE look over the entry for your god and your pantheon carefully. I'd also suggest reading the specific cultural information for the religion you've selected.
Please be aware that is page and those that follow are still under construction. If you have comments or aid, please lemme know.
Oerdian / Flanese | Elven / Seldarine | Dwarven / Morndinsamman |
Greek / Medegian | Norse / Scandinavian | Egypt / Nereganti |
Arabic / Zakharan | Celtic / Baklunish | Babylonian / Tuskar |
Asian / Kara-Tur | Hindu | Sumerian |
Also, I feel that the division of Spheres in the Player's Handbook and Tome of Magic was arbitrary and, in a word, lame. I offer, instead, a new grouping of spells by sphere, with a much larger number of spells available in the All sphere. There was much debate about this topic; so much that I intend to assemble much of the email and post them on their own page. In the meanwhile, here is the new list of spells by sphere for all clerics. In addition, since druid spells have evolved somewhat, there is also a complete list of druid spells by level and sphere.
You'll need a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader to read these patheons . To obtain a copy of Acrobat Reader, just download it from Adobe's web site.
