Onion, Chili Pickle
Ingredients:
- 500 gm. ----- Small onions
- 8-10 ----- green chilies
- 1 tsp. ----- Salt
- 1 tsp. ----- Chili powder
- 1 tsp. ----- Dried mango powder
- 1 tsp. ----- Garam masala (coarsely ground)
- 1 tsp. ----- Coriander powder
- 250 ml ----- Mustard oil
- 1 tsp. ----- Coriander powder
- 250 ml ----- Mustard oil
- 1 tsp. ----- Saunf powder
- ½ tsp. ----- Onion seeds
- ½ tsp. ----- Methi powder
Method:
Mix all the masalas and salt. Slit the chilies. Peel the onions and cross-cut them. Mix 4 tbs. oil with the masala and mix the onions and green chilies in it. Put all the ingredients in a dry jar. Heat the oil and cool. Pour the oil in the jar. Cover with lid and keep in the sun for 6-7 days.
