"The Seasons Will Pass"

"The Seasons Will Pass"

Trees are poems the earth
writes upon the sky
As they sway back and forth
from morning til nigh.

I love to listen
to their echoes in the wind
Hear the creaks and the cracks
of their limbs when they bend.

Rest in their shade
on a hot summers day.
Gaze at their leafs
as the wind makes them sway.

My eyes see the beauty
and my heart is succumbed
To the gold and orange hues
when Autumn has come.

I tread on the paths
clothed with their leaves.
Hear the crunch unde my feet
yet this time is so brief.

For in a short time
mighty winter arrives
But no worry have I
for the tree will survive.

Soon losing their cover
and coated in white.
Crystals will sparkle
from their limbs through the night.

The season will pass
and the trees will rebirth
Rewriting their poems
for us all here on earth.
