"To Feel Poetry"

To feel poetry
in the eternity
of a moment,

the poet must stand
gin-mellow

before the word
and with a lovers hands

reach out
to find that poem

with the kind
of firm hips

that press forward
at a touch--

sensation swelling
until desires

spring forth
like heaven

in a wild flower.
