| "Pennies From Heaven"
Today I spied a penny.
Just lying on the ground.
But it's not just a penny.
This little coin that I have found.
These pennies come from heaven.
That's what Grandpa use to say.
To make our days more leaven.
And to take our fears away.
Grandpa use to say,
"When an Angel misses you."
They toss a penny to the ground.
To take away your frowns.
So when you see that penny,
and you're really feeling blue.
It's a penny sent from heaven,
that an Angel tossed to you.
