I came to visit you that day So fragile and frail on the bed you laid So many things I wanted to say As in my mind I silently prayed.

I seen the strength within your soul My heart was filled with such extol And I know that God had made you whole With Him you'd take your final stroll.

Your body had grown so weak With no strength to stand or hardly speak Your heart was strained and grown so tired But inside is what I truely admired.

You touched my soul and filled my heart With words of love you did impart. I'm sorry in the final days that I could not be near But always know within your heart I always held you dear.

Thank you for the times we shared For letting me know you really cared For being the grandma so sweet so warm Thank you for being there to calm the storms.
