"Extended Grace"
My life's road has been unkind winding,
twisted, tripping, falling over the bank I went.
To proud to call for help, Save me!
I waded in the river of my tears,
My mistakes swirled past me over,
and again to remind me why I was drowning.
I saw a man at the edge, hand extended...
"TAKE MY HAND" I drifted past.
I thought the road was rough,I was wrong.
I cried more tears, which added to the current,
My mistakes now were slapping me in the face,
Battering me thru.
My tears choking me the more I swallowed.
I saw a man at the tears edge, hand extended...
''TAKE MY HAND'' Again I drifted past.
Up ahead ... there was nothing.
The tears came to a fall.
Fear stung my body,I tried to drown.
Looking up...I saw the bright Son.
He extended his hands, I grasped my savior,
Gripping to never let go.
My tears dripped from my body.
My mistakes dried from my clothes,
My saviour, and I took Another road....
