We walk through life and through all it’s trials And with each step we take, they turn to miles. We’ll reach the end of these earthly roads And upon that day they’ll turn to gold..

At times the road is long and narrow But we make it through to each tomorrow And I know at times we’ll feel alone But God is always there to lead us home

One day we’ll leave this world behind We’ll meet in Heaven with the Great Devine We’ll leave our loved ones behind to grieve For our angel wings we will receive.

For all the ones that loved us so It’s hard for them to let us go For we were such a part of them Them missing us will never end.

I hope and pray that they'll all know We’ll still be here in mind and soul We’ll be their angel, our spirit’s near They need not worry, they need not fear.

For we’re an angel in God’s hands Our home will be in God’s Holy Land And if they keep us in their hearts We’ll never be too far apart.
