True Love:

A princess stares with empty eyes,
Across the darkening moonlit skys.
The man she loves goes of to war,
The locket she holds reminding her more,
Of the pain flowing deep inside,
And the love that is about to coincide.
In a single second she made a decision,
If her love was to die she'd die with him.
She ran to him and took his hand,
Neither faltering nor cowering or leaving her stand.
She boldly proclaimed in a regal voice,
Her heart, her soul, her mind, her choice,
"Do what you with the me"
"But spare my love this fate, I plea."
A moment to late her cry reached heaven,
For Evil reached out to kill this procession.
In only a moment the deed was done,
The two had died under the golden sun.
Not far off a Queen watched with tears,
At the death of her daughter, not 17 years.
With a sob in her throat and tears in her eyes,
She lifted her crystal towards the sky.
And in a loud voice, unapropriate for the hour,
She said these short words, "Moon Cosmic Power!"
The prince and the princess and the entire court,
Were locked up in cases of all the same sort.
Lying down she said these last words,
"Please take my daughter and her court to be reborn in a new world."
She breathed her last and her soul was at rest,
From the hope that was given her from her dying request.
As her spirit rose from her humanly form,
She said in a quiet, tasteful norm:
Never has such true love been shown,
As that of Princess Serenity and Prince Endymoin.
