TEACHING OBJECTIVES :
Social conventions of game playing : turn-taking, rules, not cheating, being a "good" loser, etc.

YOU WILL NEED: printout of game board (laminating will add to the durability of the board.)
Die (numbers or dots) and small counters

RULES OF PLAY :
Start from "Earth."
Throw the die and move along the requisite number of "stars" in the direction of "Mars."
If someone else's counter lands on your counter you must return to Earth unless you are on a "moon base" - there you are safe.
(In other words, you can have as many counters as necessary on a moon base, but only one on a star.)
Follow any instructions on the "satellites" landed on.
You must throw the exact number necessary to land on "Mars" - if the number thrown is too big, the counter stays where it is and that turn is forfeited.
The first one to get from Earth to Mars is the winner.
