NAME: At birth: Kou Shun'u. Given later: Genrou. Seishi name: Tasuki.
AGE: Seventeen (nineteen in the 2nd OVA)
BIRTHDATE: April 18, a Ram.
HEIGHT: 178 centimeters (about 5'10...good height : )
BLOOD TYPE: B
BORN IN: Koshu Taito prefecture, at the foot of Mount Reikaku in Konan.
FAMILY MEMBERS: a (weak, old) father, a (huge-breasted) mother, and five elder sisters (females dominant). The only sister we ever see or know anything about is his (youngest?) older sister, Aidou.
HOBBIES: Fighting, arguing ("kenka"), drinking sake, making bad jokes, snuggling with me >: )=
POWERS/ABILITY: Wrestling, judo, boxing, and other forms of fighting; fast runner; wielding a divine blaze using an iron-ribbed fan ("tessen"), and a GREAT kisser >: )=
HAIR: Bright orange (real life equivilant would be strawberry-blonde). Short in the front, long in the back; spiky and shiny.
EYES: Golden.
BUILD: **siggghhhh**
PROMINENT FEATURES: Fangs, earrings, he's a BABE, he swears a lot.
FRIENDS: He's typically a friendly guy (he's often pictured with his arm around someone O.o), but his better buddies include: Kouji (a fellow bandit), Tamahome/Taka (grrrr.....), Nuriko, and Chichiri.
DISLIKES: Women (except me ^_-), water (he can't swim), and milk (explained in "Genrou Den")
LOVER: ME!!! (who else?)
GENERAL STUFF: oooh boy, here's where i get to ramble about how wonderful he is... Not much is known about his childhood, but from what i can gather (and guess), he was a short scrawny kid who got picked on a lot by his sisters, his mother, and maybe even his peers. He was probably a crybaby who often came home to mommy with a scraped knee, or a black eye. When he turned fifteen (or so) he left home to go to the city to "become a man". He was intercepted, however, by some bandits who beat him up. He was saved by the leader of the Mt. Reikaku bandits, and after much persuasion, he was admitted into their stronghold to train as a bandit.
He met, and became best friends wtih Kouji (an orphaned bandit, a couple years older than he), and a whole story happened here which can be found in the Tasuki novel (yes! there IS one!!) "Genrou Den"(links at the bottom of the main Tasuki Shrine page).
He comes into the TV series when Miaka and the others are looking for seishi, and we see a flashy man with an attitude and a great potty-mouth. He doesn't change much durring the TV series, but comes to accept women more.
In the 2nd OVA, i must sadly say: he grows up : ( He's two years older now, and starts to see things from a more mature angle. We also see another side to him (which i will not go into so as not to spoil you and to keep myself from killing the computer in rage...)
Wow! i managed to keep that pretty clean of ramblings about how wonderful he is...Well, i'll sum it all up in saying he's a really fun (and cute!) guy, who loves many people, and many people love him >: )= I just hope we can get past all the petty "claiming him as your own" business....and just let me have him!!! HAahahahahahahaah!!!!!!!!
