The Israeli's adopted a different approach to souvenir spoons and blended a middle eastern tradition with a western tradition after World War ll.
These two spoons feature Eilat stones. Eilat is closely related to both turquoise and malachite and found only in the desert near the city of Eilat. The handles feature many old Hebrew symbols.

These two spoons feature Persian Turquoise stones that have been laboriously carved into cabachon shapes. They are mounted on conventional looking spoons.
