Since
Amorphium can't raytrace, here is a way to fake a reflection. First
I loaded a Plane object. Then I painted it light green. Then I used
Gradient with a darker color. |
|
In
composer I locked the X axis and rotated the plane -90 degrees, and
dropped it to the floor. I added two more spheres and painted them,
then positioned and scaled them in Composer. I found a copy of a sky
picture and made a copy of it reversed horizontally. |
 |
 |
I
loaded the reversed sky picture into Composer as a background picture.
I rendered this scene and saved it as a png image. |
|
I
loaded this image into PhotoPaint and added background to the sides
of the image so it would map better on the sphere using Cylindrical
mapping. |
|
I
loaded a third sphere in Amorphium and Texture mapped it with the
above image, using Cylindrical texturing. Then positioned and scaled
this sphere in Composer. I changed the background in composer to the
original sky picture. I rendered the scene and this is what I ended
up with. Click on the image to see it full size. |
