RawSetters@yahoogroups.com was born in November 1998 and is dedicated to companions of the four setter breeds - Irish, Irish Red and White, Gordon and English - who feed either entirely or in part a natural, raw diet.

It's membership covers the globe and the experience ranges from recent "converts" to those with years of experience - one setter homes to large kennels.

To quote from a recent post to the list - "This is a wonderful list. The basis of the list is a raw diet, but how we get there is a little different with all of us. But at least we have each other to bounce questions off no matter how trivial. We are all here to learn and want healthy happy dogs and owners as the last end. It's amazing how we can hash the same questions of feeding bones and meat and still make it interesting and always finding something new to try."

Whoever we are, we are here because we want to do the best we humanly can for our Setters and are only too willing to share our combined knowledge and experiences with others.

This website has been established to give a permanent record to the fundamentals of raw feeding - reference books, frequently asked questions, diet plans.

There is also a photo album showing some of the list member's beautiful RAW FED setters.
