Georges River Catchment Management Committee (GRCMC)

The GRCMC uses sub committees, or working groups, to do much of its work. These committees are formed for a particular functions; study, planning, implimentation of actions,etc.

Each of the sub committees has some members of the GRCMC, but also draw on the expertise and resources of outside members. Although many decisions are delegated to the sub committees, all major policy or financial decisions are referred back to the full committee.

The GRCMC also has a close relationship with other organisations, which although are not formed under the GRCMC, have some common membships.

        Bushland Management

        Cabramatta and Prospect Creeks Steering Committee

        Georges River Combined Councils Committee

        Department of Urban Affairs and Planning, "Section 22 Committee" for the
