- 4/11/98 Morning
- Time to dig. My brother marked where the hole should be. Some other friends came over with an auger to loosen everything up. Here is my brother finishing up the bottom of the hole.
- 4/11/98 Late Afternoon
- Call it a day. After a lot of brainstorming and a trip to Home Depot this is where we ended the day.
- 5/13/98 Late Afternoon
- After two weeks of rain I finally finished the slate. I installed the slate overhanging the pool. I planted some of the plants that were growing in my basement. I bought 15 small comets and let them loose in the pond.
- Installed so far...
- My brother gave me a 125 gallon pond for Christmas.
- I bought a Beckett medium pond pump kit. It has a pump, filter, fountain head and diverter valve.
- My back yard is already fenced in.
- I bought a white water lily, pink water lily, cattail and blue flag iris at Home Depot. I have been looking at lily prices and these were about a third the cost of anywhere else.
- I bought the Midi-Cascade, Parrots Feather, two Taros and five snails from LilyBlooms.
- That neat water bridge in the photos is an Aquaspan I ordered from Hammacher Schlemmer over the internet. The fish love it!
- To be installed...
- Some kind of border around dirt.
