| No person may take, possess, disturb,
mutilate, destroy, cause to be destroyed, sell, offer for sale, transfer,
molest, or harass any marin turtles nest or eggs at any time.
Upron conviction, a person may be imprisoned for a period of up to 60 days or fined up to $500, or both, plus an additional penalty of $100 for each sea turtle egg destroyed or taken. |
No person may take, harass, harm, pursue,
hunt shoot, wound, kill, trap, or capture any marin turtles, turtle nest,
and/or eggs, or attempt to engange in any such conduct.
Any person who knowingly violated any provision of this act may be assessed a civil penalty up to $25,000 or a criminal penalty up to $50,000 and up to one year imprisonment. |
