September 1994 (November 1998)
The area is an oval reserve with a oundary of bushland and houses backing on to this bush. The bushland areas are still in fairly good condition. However, several stormwater outlets are impacting on a local basis. The outlets are causing weed invasion and erosion problems. the main stormwater pipe running underneath the oval extends into the bush and discharges at the top of a small escarpment.
The immediate boundary of the oval is maintained by Willoughby Council Parks staff and consists of regular spraying of herbicide around planted Banksias and Acacias.
Some of the current weed areas have been previously cleared but not maintained by Council staff.
