Welcome to the web pages of the Lane Cove River Catchment Management Committee (LCRCMC). The purpose of these pages is to inform the Lane Cove River Catchment Community of the strategies and projects initiated and developed by the Committee.
Our catchment covers a vast area of the North Shore of Sydney Harbour and includes parts of seven local government areas. These councils and various government departments along with community representatives, have contributed greatly to the development of LCRCMC since its appointment in 1991. There already have been a number of significant achievements and plans to better manage the catchment.
We welcome your thoughts on catchment management and hope that these pages will inspire and encourage you to participate in greater community involvement.
