Summary: Water quality in this sub-catchment is unknown. No water quality monitoring has been carried out.
Issues: In a large catchment such as this, with such a diverse range of land uses, water quality monitoring should be initiated to detect the impacts of these different forms of land use. Industrial areas are large potential sources of pollution and sources are easily traced using dyes.
Knowledge Gaps: Information regarding water quality and the location and activity of sewerage overflow information is poor.
Recommendations: Regular water quality monitoring should be initiated and further investigation of sewerage overflows be undertaken
