AZRAEL, ANGEL OF DARKNESS!
Yes! The Demon Bird from Hell! Kind of matches
the demon hamster . . . YEAH, THIS ISN'T A PICTURE OF OUR BIRD EITHER!
AND NOT ONLY THAT, OUR BIRD DOESN'T EVEN LOOK LIKE THIS! She looks
more like this: |

That's her! And the boychild really
did name her Azrael, Angel of Darkness. She doesn't talk, she only
squawks when the boychild has been gone for days, and when we forget to
fill her seed cup up with fresh seed AS SOON AS WE GET HOME, she scuffles
around in the bottom of her cage, pretending like she's trying to reach
the seed hulls underneath the wire cage bottom to signal her displeasure
that we are STARVING HER TO DEATH! When we first got out here to
our soon-to-be-farm, she was living in a cat carrier. She must have
thought it was a breeding box, because she started laying eggs. Didn't
quit even after we got her back into her cage. But she has quit since
moving into our temporary living quarters in town. I think it was
the amount of light she was getting in the trailer - there was light from
dawn until after 10PM at night. Turned her into an egg machine.
Who needs chickens, eh? |
