ASAC - Friends Association of the Cactus and Other Succulents
wants to welcome everybody to the wonderful world of the succulent plants.
Dear "cactófilos and suculentófilos" friends:
Since more than 5 years, ASAC has propitiated the relations among the associates whose find exciting the crop and study of the cactus and others succulent plants.
The Association, has as objective the diffusion of the knowledge of the study among the keens, making easy to it's national and international associates the interchange of material and information.
For this reason, we put to the disposal of our associates:
- "Suculentas", our informative bulletin which has quartely edition of twenty pages in black and white format with photos and with information of all of ours activities, wide comments of species, interviews to the associates, exchanges, the world of the cactus, contac's with other international or national associations, philately,...At last, since the second quarter of the year 2001 and thanks the increasing number of new members of our Assotiation , our quarterly bulletin has up to 24 pages and full colour front and back.
- Weekly meetings each wednesday no festive from 19 a 21,30 p.m. and also monthly meetings always the last saturday of each month unless we realice outdoors activities in the:

in which we expound our experiences, cares of our "friends", practical workshops: course of cultivation, course of sowing, illness and plagues, gastronomy of cactus, photography of the cactus,...
- The possibility of knowing other people with the same passion like you for the "princle or thorn".
- The opportunity to visit vivariums, private collections and Botanical Parks in which we were interested the most.
- Library: books and bulletins of other associations, and the consulting for buying books with advantageous prices for our associates.
- Interchanges of seeds, cactus, experiences,...
- Annual exhibition in the Greenhouse of "Parque de la Ciudadela" in Barcelona of the exemplars of our associates and some others of interest given from vivariums and Botanical Parks.
- We also organize annually a tender of photography among our associates.
