| BigNoseBird.Com | This is a very comprehensive site about HTML and web publishing. |
| A Beginner's Guide to HTML | This is a great reference document that lists the major HTML tags and gives you examples of how to use them. |
| The Barebones Guide to HTML | This is another good reference document. Not quite as exhaustive as a "Beginner's Guide to HTML" but it has a user-friendly layout. |
| D.J. Quad's Ultimate HTML Site | This site aims to contain all anyone needs to know to make a web page. It is big and interesting and has great links to lots of other web page authoring sites. |
| Cool Graphics on the Web | This is a brilliant site. It has links to loads of pages full of banners, buttons, backgrounds, animated gifs, icons, clipart - from here you can wallow in web graphics for hours. |
| Hee Yun's Graphic Collection | I love this site - I used a lot of backgrounds and bars from here. Hee Yun has a huge collection of neat piccies and things - especially if you like herbs, bright colours, flowers and animals. |
| Graphics by Minnie | I used some of Minnie's buttons - they're great. |
| Zoonet Image Archives | This site links to zoos all over the world and has great photies and clipart. |
| Cat Gif Animations | If you want a moving cat on your page this is definitely the place to look. |
| PETA Online | PETA stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. PETA has a great section giving you addresses to write to protest individual and institutional acts of cruelty against animals. PETA also has veggie recipes and lists of companies that do and don't use animal testing. |
| Debbie's White Trash Vegetarian Cuisine | This is a site by a chick I can relate to. Blue collar veggie mush. Great! |
| Mega Index to Vegetarian Information | This page is a must for flakes everywhere. |
| Veggies Unite | This page has approx 3000 wonderful vegan recipes and most of the ones I have tried have been wonderful. |
| This is the International Homepage. It's a good place to start and highlights 3 urgent cases a month and gives you the information you need to write letters to the people needed. It seems such an incredible thing that by writing a letter you can help a prisoner of conscience in jail or people persecuted by governments. |
| Amnesty International Urgent Action Network | At this site you can join the Urgent Action Network. Then you will be informed when people are imprisioned, under threat of execution or facing unfair trials. Then the letters you write/fax or email can have an immediate impact on a person's fate. Apparently the Urgent Action Network has a good success rate of helping people. |
| Amnesty International USA Women's Human Rights Program | This site lists cases where you can take action to help women and children who are being denied their human rights around the world. |
| "The National Enquirer" | A very strange page by a very strange guy - be scared if he tries to give you Licorice Allsorts. |
| Gromit's Page | This is a lovely site about about the advent into the world of Monty aka Gromit - the world's most wonderful baby (he is a bit farty though). |
