Much of my garden is in either full or partial shade. So, I have alot of Hostas, ferns, some hydranga, astilbe and daylilies where feasible. Come to think of it, I buy just about any perennial that will take partial shade. While I tend to favor perennials, I still love to fill pots and perk up borders with colorful annuals. |

Here is the walkway to my front door. It is hard to photograph, but I have Hosta, astilbe, daylilies, hybrid lilies, impatiens, dianthis and a few other plants within the bed. |

Another view of the shade garden in the front. Here I have coral bells, lady's mantle as well as some wave petunias in a pot. |
