I am searching for information on my great grandfather, Edward Charles Reid, who served with the 1st battalion Queen's Royal Regiment(West Surrey). He was a private, Reg No. G/3931. His medal index suggests he did not see action until after 1/1/1916. He survived the War and died in Strood, Kent, in 1963 aged 83.
