The following sound files are recordings that I and a partner made (Miller and Amacher 1996) while working in the summer of 1996. These are not studio quality by any means. They were recorded using a portable cassette deck with a boom microphone. The work site was Blodgett Forest Research Station located near Georgetown, CA, which is at about 4500 feet amongst the Sierran mixed conifer habitat type. Thanks goes to my friend Jake who arranged these files from tape into ".wav" format.
