I found a message on my answering machine yesterday from the intrepid sailors. They met up with Paul and Janet Herzog in Pouillac. In fact, Rosi and Jim were just sailing in as Paul and Janet were coming down the gang plank! They had some more minor trouble with the engine which Jim was able to fix. They also were able to get the transducer fixed so now they have no excuses for running aground! They were planning to make it to Bordeaux by today and then push along to Castec (or some town that sounds just like that - I'll go and get a real map tonight! :-) Everything is going great and Rosi said she would try to reach me when they make the next town.
