attn: fishing guenther morro jable DEAR FRIENDS, SINCE OUR LAST REPORT WE
HAVE BEEN ENJOYING BEAUTIFUL, FALL COLORS, PARTICULARLY INLAND FROM THE LAKE
SUPERIOR SHORES. LAST WEEKEND WE HAD COLD BLUSTERY RAIN- SO WE WERE LAND
BOUND. AFTER COMPLETING SOME CHORES AT THE TRAILER, WE GOT TO WITNESS SOME
"SPECIAL" LOCAL EVENTS, AS WE HAD BEEN GONE FROM THIS LOCALITY. WE AWOKE TO
A HEAVY, WHITE FROST ON EVERYTHING OUTSIDE AROUND THE RAILER ON SUNDAY
MORNING. IN THE AFTERNOON WE JOINED IN A TAILGATE BUFFET WITH WILD "PACKER"
FANS AT THE "NEIGHBORLY TAVERN".AFTER THE RUNAWAY VICTORY, WE SHOUTED LONG
LIVE THE GREENBAY PACKERS" AND THOUGHT OS IAN, PHIL, AND MICK OF YAPONCHAKI.
ON THE WAY TO SUNSET AT "LITTLE GIRL'S POINT" ON THE U.P. OF MICHIGAN, WE
SAW THREE BIG RED FOXES AND MORE THAN A DOZEN DEER IN THEIR WINTERCOATS.
MONDAY WE HAD THE USUAL HECTIC OF GETTING UNDERWAY FROM THE HARBOUR AS WE
SET OUT FOR THE APOSTLES AND CORNUCOPIA.WE POKED AROUND THE ISLANDS AND
HIKED THE SAND ISLAND TRAIL TO THE LIGHTHOUSE. AS WE SAILED THROUGH THE
CHANNELS AND BAYS THINGS SEEMED VACANT IN THESE USUALLY POPULATED WATERS,
BECAUSE WE SAW ONLY 2 SAILBOATS. WHEN WE FINALLY ARRIVED WED. AT THE
SISKIWIT BAY MARINA IN CORNUCOPIA, WISCONSINS NORTHERNMOST VILLAGE, THE
OWNERS WERE AT THE DOCK TO GREET US AND HELP TIE PADDY'S HURRICANE TO HER
NEW DOCK. NOW WE ARE USING THE PARTICULARLY WARM SUNNY DAYS TO REBED THE
TOERAIL. WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO A VISIT FROM PAUL AND MARCIA THIS
WEEKEND. THANKS FOR THE RELAY DANNO. TILL WE WRITE AGAIN, ALLES GOUDA JIM
AND ROSI.
