Write the Coast Guard Commander in charge of permitting and tell her we don't need this boondoggle bridge
Dear Commander,
I am writing this letter in opposition to the construction of a new toll bridge at Walton Road in St. Lucie County. The construction of this bridge would have an adverse effect on the health of the Indian River Lagoon National Estuary,
The Savannas State Reserve and The Hobe Sound National Wildlife Preserve acquisition property on Hutchinson Island.
The destruction of sea-grass and habitat that would result from the construction of such a bridge is not worth the convenience the bridge would provide to the area residents.
