Donate, and become a member of Defenders of the RainForest

Defenders needs your help! The best way you can help us out is by becoming a member of Defenders of the Rainforest. By doing this, you not only show your support but you also help us continue to do what we do best, save the rainforest! Your donation will allow us to continue with our goals in community education and non-violent direct actions. To keep you informed on our activities and to let you know what is happening to the world's rainforests we will send you a bi-monthy newsletter with action alerts, information on our activities and other great information.

Some if the things we plan to do in the next 6 months

At present we are planning to start a 'RainForest Buyer Program', we would like to allow people the ability to purchase rainforest land so that they themselves know it is being protected.

We also want to create a time slot at our local community center (Boys and Girls Club) where we educate young children on the importance of the rainforest and show them movies, slide shows and play games with them, all with a rainforest theme.
