ELECTION RESULTS The following officers were elected at the Chapter's Annual Conference: * President Elect - Heidi Brewer * Secretary - Anna Bold * Eastern Director - Dick Sheetz (reelected) * Southwest Director - Ed Musser (reelected) * Treasurer - Dan McLean (reelected) Many thanks to Heidi for her last 2 years as Secretary and to Warren Kellogg for his leadership as President. Both Heidi and Warren will continue to be active in the Chapter's activities (as President Elect and Past President, respectively)

SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT Julie Hawn of Lewistown, Montana was this year's recipient of a $500 scholarship awarded by the Montana Chapter. "It is my goal to work in a field where I can promote conservation and the effective management of natural resources," stated Julie. "I feel those working in natural resource management can have a positive impact on our society by helping to protect our natural environment." Julie is the daughter of Ted and Kay Hawn of Lewistown. She graduated from Fergus High School in Lewistown in 1999 and attends Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. Her major course of study is Biology/Ecology.

AWARDS At the Chapter's Annual Conference, President Warren Kellogg presented these awards to the following members: * Tom Pick - For his effort in chairing the Program Committee for the Animal Waste Conference. * Heidi Brewer - For her outstanding effort as Chapter Secretary 1999-2000. * Dan McLean - For his long service as the Chapter Treasurer. Be sure to congratulate these members for a job well done!

PRINTS FOR SALE Area directors and other executive officers are selling the wildlife print (shown here) by Laurel Ovitt first made available at the 1997 annual meeting as a fundraising tool. The prints sell for $25.00 unframed, $40.00 framed, $22.32 of which is tax deductible. The numbered prints are a part of a planned series devoted to a conservation theme. To buy a print, contact your local officer.
