This is the beloved tower I've called home for the past 9 summers. Juniper and sage to the North; Ponderosa, Douglas Fir, Tamarack and White Fir elsewhere. The play between desert and Forest ecosystems in Central Oregon make it a wonderful place to visit and a great place for fire.

DirectionsFrom Prineville Go East on Hwy 20 for approx 15 miles-turn right on paved road designated with "Ochoco Ranger Station" sign. Go past the Ochoco Ranger Station about 600 ft to arrive at Forest Service 42Rd/22Rd junction. Turn left onto the 22Rd. Go untill you are past Walton Lake Campground about 1.5 miles at which point the 22Rd turns to gravel at a hairpin turn. Turn left onto the 150RD. Go short distance, then turn right onto the 2630 road. Just keep on the 2630 road. You will come to a "Rough Road/No trailers beyond this point sign". Keep going straight past this sign and uphill. From here JUST BEAR RIGHT at every intersection and you will arrive at Pisgah. Approx. 1.25-1.5 hours from Prineville. Good Luck. 4WD reccomended but not necessary if you drive slowly.
