We guarantee live delivery. If there are dead arrivals please put them in a fish bag with some salt in the bag. We really do trust people, but please save the bag until we talk. In most instances we will replace the fish without question. The Postage bill for DOA fish is your responsibility. We sell the fish on such a small profit this is a must. Mostly this comes down to trust and reputation. For sure we have had some very minor problems but in those few events we have taken the responsibility and replaced with no questions asked. Wild fish are as healthy and as well adjusted as commercially bred fish and in some cases more so. We are not here to rip people off...we would not have lasted 3 years...but you have to remember that contrary to popular opinion this is NOT A BIG MONEY MAKING BUSINESS. We love to deal with wild fish and offer the real hobbyists fish they would never come across in most Aquarium stores. Our profit margin is terribly low so as to permit our prices to stay low. We have to trust that you will be truthful about DOA's. We have shipped literally hundreds and hundreds of boxes throughout the entire continental US and Hawaii and Alaska(...for real). We have been successful .....maybe 99% of the time. That's an honest statement. Occasionally things do happen. Please work with us so we may continue to work with you. Time of year is also very impotrtant. Now that it is colder we do not reccommend 2nd-3rd day delivery in most cases!
