The Golden Gauntlet award was the challenge award of Genesis, and this year it gained much attention. Some of the attempts at winning it were: - A round of Kiss trivie (22nd Niagara) - A round of duck, duck, goos (11th London) - Wheeling a tire from the flats to the stage (2nd Tillsonburg) - Rapelling face first - Running around the camp in their boxers (2nd Tillsonburg) - To sing the second verse of "Oh Canada" - Stringing another Companies clothes up the flag poles (1st Pathfinders) - Showing up at registration during breakfast wearing only a box (1st Sombra Township) - Showing up at the dance wearing a dress made of scarves (24th Kitchener) - Showing up at the closing ceremonies wearing the Venturer flag as a dress (1st Brights Grove) - Plus Many More!!!!
But the winners were 2nd Tillsonburg Venturers. The won by taking their entire kitchen, including the fly, up to the stage on Sunday. |
