I saw a battle fought and won
A dragon flew across the sun
Walked forests green with elves and sprites,
Deep caverns dwarf-mined day and night

Sailed across a jewelled sea
Swam with dolphins, wild and free
All this.. yet never left my chair
Imagination took me there




Left dusty by the wayside
In a world that moves too fast
The book sits waiting, patiently
Holding tales of times long past

Remember now those tattered pages?
They gave us wings throughout the ages
