Bird Kite

The Balinese are enthusiastic kite flyers, and very creative in their designs. Kites in the form of Birds of Prey are quite common, and reflect the fact that at harvest time such kites are flown above ripening rice fields to drive away the huge flocks of small seed-eating birds that feed on the crop.
