What's that call? An unfamiliar sound. A finch? A warbler? No.
That rustle in the bush, and up pops a... what is that? That strange
silhouette out on the mudflat that doesn't look like anything normally seen

This list includes only species with individual records (as opposed to dotted lines) in the Yolo County Checklist. For birds seen before spring 2004
I use the 1993 edition; for birds seen after spring 2004, I use
the 2004 edition. EXCEPTIONS: Great-tailed Grackles after June 1, 2000,
Grasshopper Sparrows after 2002, and all Western and "Kumlien's" Iceland Gulls are not included. (Note that all three of these have dotted lines in the 2004 edition, so will not be included from now on anyway.) Also, Eurasian Collared-Doves after 2005 are not included.
