 would be interested in starting a friendship first and build from there. Ultimately, I look for that very special one to share my joy and sorrows...to be part of my life...to find myself through her eyes and heart. I am looking for a woman who understands the value and responsibilities of a family life based on mutual love and respect. I do hope she has a heart full of love, compassion and enthusiasm for a beautiful life together based on love and peace. I wish her to join my spiritual journey towards the realization of ultimate reality and wisdom in my inner self. I wish her to be outgoing. I would like to go to gym with her and work out. Wish to go for biking together, and also just sit at the lake side talking holding her hands, and sometime just being silent looking into the deep blue of her eyes. I wish to find myself through the eyes of that very special one. I hope she is good looking (Beauty is in the eyes of the beholderJ).  I believe that there should be a mutual attraction and physical chemistry for a relationship to work. 

 

I am a down to earth guy, laid back, and easy-going. You could sense my warmness and kindness very easily. I give much importance to family values, truth and honesty. I understand the positive aspects of both Western and Indian Cultures and try to assimilate both in a balanced way.

 

Regarding my back ground, I am a Christian, born in India. When I visit patients in the hospital some asks, how long have you been a Christian, you or your dad become a Christian.  Then I say  to their wonder that my family has been Christian for last 2000 years.  St. Thomas the apostle of Christ came to my little state in India (Kerala) and we are  Christians from first century AD.  We are six brothers and I am fifth in the birth order. Two of my brothers are working in Qatar, other three have settled in my home town in India. 

 

Presently, I work as a Chaplain at a hospital in Fort Wayne Indiana. I have worked as a teacher and other secular jobs. My vision is to do a full time ministry helping people.

I have a  Master Degree from Loyola University Chicago in Religious Education and also completed the coursework for a Doctor of Ministry program in Chicago. 

 

Some of my personal goals in life are to commit my life and energies for the service of this world through Christ. My dream of life is to fulfill the vision of Kingdom of God in my life. Also I would like to settle down with the woman of my heart and have a lovely Christian family.

 

I was a member of a Christian dating website, they had a tool to create a personality profile by analyzing answers given to the a Relationship Questionnaire. Everyone has a set of subconscious wants and desires that drive their choices and attitudes. As the questions and answers reflect a wide range of emotional issues, this personality profile shows general patterns in my values. Though it is not very accurate or complete it gives a general idea of my character. It is not an in-depth analysis of who I am but a helpful snapshot which shows some of my outstanding characteristics.

 

THE PERSONALITY REPORT:

• I have a basic need to be supportive of others. I will agree with others, sometimes even if it's not what I really want.
• I am a good friend and always willing to help those I consider to be my friends. I  also show strong ties, and will be uncomfortable when separated from my friends for an extended period.
• I  tend to dislike sudden or abrupt changes. I prefer things the way they are. My motto might be: "If it's not broken, don't fix it."
• I may demonstrate positive possessiveness by developing strong attachments; however, I will not be overly involved as some others tend to do.
• Others may perceive me as being undemonstrative and self-controlled. Not wanting to be the center of attention, I generally support others.
• Because of my  and complacent nature, others with fewer scruples may take advantage of me. I could, perhaps, benefit from greater assertiveness. (Recent years I have become more assertive)
• I tend to be loyal to others. My loyalty shows in a variety of ways including my "staying power" with relationships and activities.
• I tend to be a traditionalist, and will enjoy the social environment best if it is stable and predictable. I dislike sudden decisions about where to go or what to do, preferring to think things out first. (Sometimes, I have taken sudden decisions which has changed my life.  After living almost five years in Chicago, very quickly I took the decision to move to Fort Wayne)
• I prefer a warm, friendly environment free of conflict and hostility. In that environment, I prefer reassurance of my involvement and self-worth.
• In communicating with others, I may support the mainstream ideas rather than new trailblazing activities. I may prefer the stable and traditional activities.
• Others will notice that I am a sincere person about what you say and do. This trait, along with the excellent listening skills, creates an individual whom most people find pleasant to be with and a calming type of person. (This is very true, I think)
• I have a communications style which many people are comfortable with almost immediately. I am sincere, a good listener, not pushy and overall a comfortable person to be near. (My Supervisor says that I have strong will.  Some of my friend’s say that I cannot be turned down pretty quick.  May be I am following Christ’s word,  “Seek you will find…knock it will be opened to youJ)
• In my group, I support the group leader rather than vie for a leadership position myself. As a result, the group leader will usually appreciate my support
• I tend to internalize conflict. As a result I  may bottle-up feelings and keep them inside. (This is the way I was brought up.  I preferred to hide my feelings of anger and frustrations and pretend to be okay.  My Theological training and Chaplaincy training has helped me to be assertive.  I have learned to be aware of my feelings and express my feelings proactively and assertively)

According to Myers-Briggs Personality Typology I am ISFJ type. (Preference Scores: 15, 21, 25,29) ISFJ is a sensing type. This type prefers to focus on the inner world of ideas and impressions, focus on the present and on concrete information gained through the senses. Decision-making is primarily based on values and on subjective evaluation of person-centered concerns, and the approach to life is planned and organized, prefer to have things settled.

 

ISFJ personality is quiet, friendly, responsible and conscientious. Work devotedly to meet the obligations. This personality is a source of stability to any project or group. It is thorough, painstaking and accurate. Their interests are usually not technical. ISJFJ personality is patient with necessary details and is loyal, considerate, perceptive, and concerned with how other people feel. I think that I am a peoples' person and I have a much developed sixth sense of intuition.

 

My spirituality is to obey the commandment of Jesus "Love one another as I loved you"...and love even your enemies. In my spiritual journey I look into my own inner being which is the very image of God, and try to see the presence of God. I wish my soul mate to join my spiritual journey towards the realization of ultimate reality and wisdom in our inner self. My spirituality is celebrating my life with peace and joy for myself and others.

 

Regarding my likings and hobbies, I like the quietness of the early morning, sunset, fresh air, flowers and the melody of the birds. I love to sit at the lakeside and watch a sunset. Looking into the infiniteness of the blue sky I forget all my worries in my life. I enjoy driving, reading, Western music, Indian Classical dance, and Classical music. I like dining out with friends, movies and traveling. I have started taking  horse riding lessons.  (I like it, I think I could become a good riderJ ). In future I might buy a Harley Davidson and go around with my special one.

 

Regularly I work out at the gym.  I usually lift weight, run on the tread mill, work on high pulley and cross ramp. I have started going to dance lessons beginning with Waltz and Swing, but it is not reaching anywhere nowJ  

 

Growing up in India my staple food was rice and curries.  Now I eat almost all types Western food.  I eat pizza but I am not its fan.  I could cook baked potato and broiled chicken and you will think it is cooked by a qualified chefJ I prefer chicken and fish (in India fish is very common) I am  not much into red meat

 

Regarding the first meeting place,  it could be anywhere which is comfortable to both of us.  May be sitting in a park, walking in the woods or country side.  At an elegant café, listening to soft music, sipping coffee, talking and LISTENING sounds good too.  Without any expectation, just enjoying the time and letting it go, it is hard though.
