Students reactions to the Internet Project about the Rainforest:

Kent:

My feeling on working on the computer is that it was nice because you could get to your work a lot faster than you can in a textbook. It allowed me to get to the work quicker than you normally would. The Internet also has a lot more information.

While working on the Internet, I was opened up to a lot of new things. One of the things I was opened up to was various cultural differences.

The Internet also allowed me to work at a faster pace.

Makennon:

I liked working on the Internet because I got to enjoy the very beautiful pictures and I got to work with someone else who wanted to work just as I did. Also, the Internet lets you get information faster than any book.

Douglas:

I liked working and using the Internet to learn about the rainforest. The project seems to be a lot of fun. They show little movies scenes to help you to understand, you can learn a lot from the Internet about almost anything. I learned about the rainforest. I'd also learned about how the Internet is mostly important for valuable information about places in the world and how to get there and other things about the place.
