SILVERSTRING

The very large silver wolf calls me "Sister" and I greet him as "Brother" out of a deep respect for who and what he is.  He is trusted much, even to the point of being asked to help with Little Aragon's training.  Silver is not just a big wolf - but a being of high intelligence.  He communicates through mind pictures which I find to be a very effective way to carry on a conversation.  When Antimus is away, I find Silverstring's presence very soothing.  To be able to sit in the  grass of the grove, with a hand resting on Silver's thick fur and discuss things with him passes the time nicely.  His wolfy humor makes me smile.
