YIRRA YAAKIN NOONGAR WOMEN’S MEETING 2 Due to the success of our 1st Noongar Women’s Meeting,the next meeting has been scheduled as follows:

When:
Thursday 28th July 2005, 10:30AM – 2:30PM.
(NB: BYO Lunch. Coffee & Tea Provided)

Where:
Piney Lakes Environment Centre (entry is on) Leach Hwy, between Riseley Street & Murdoch Drive WINTHROP.

These meetings will now take place every second Thursday (pension day), at various women’s areas across the Metropolitan region in preparation for the very special 2006 Welcome to Country.

This is an open invitation to all Noongar Women to come together in unity. Presently these meetings are open only to Noongar Women and have been planned in the lead up to the UWA Perth International Arts Festival Welcome to Country, which will celebrate and recognise Noongar Cultures. All women can show their support by encouraging Noongar Yorgas to come together and forwarding this information through your networks.
