E xPLORING PHILIPPINE ISLANDS
Exploring the Pearl of the Orient Seas: Philippines
" Ronette, wish you were there with us. It should have been a lot livelier!" - Kavanagh
Always Stay Smiley!
Somewhere deep within ourselves; A place where we go to get away, To think things through, To be alone, to be ourselves. This unique place, where we confront our deepest feelings, Becomes a storehouse of all our hopes, All our needs, all our dreams, And even our unspoken fears. It encompasses the essence of who we are and what we want to be. But now and then, whether by chance or design, Someone discovers a way into that place we thought was ours alone.v And we allow that person to see, to feel and to share All the reason, all the uncertainty And all the emotion we've stored up there. That person adds new perspective to our hidden realm, Then quietly settles down in his own corner of our special place, Where a bit of himself will stay forever. And we call that person a FRIEND. |

From
left to right: Butch, Dondon (both are seating), two ladies seating in
front: Pinky (in red)
& Evelyn (in blue), standing at their back: Roel (wearin' gray cap),
Hazelle (the
Author,
in dark green longsleeves),
the long-haired lady beside her is Liezl.
Beside Liezl is Rodel (the ever
sunny) and the tallest guy at the back (with
shades) is Roy. Across the the strait due east from the mainland is SAMAL. That is where we started our exploration... Samal is an unspoiled island ringed with secluded coves of white sand. Outlying islets shelter coral reefs pulsating with marine life. We passed by a few resorts, interspersed with stands of coconut trees and outcrops of limestone, which clearly dot the shores.
It is full of all sorts of things for US to find out and do. We have the CHOICE to CREATE and not just RECREATE. |
"Adversity is the rain of your life, cold, comfortless, and unfriendly. Yet from that season are born the lily, the rose, the date, and the pomegranate. Who can tell what great things you will bring forth after you have been parched by the heat of tribulation and drenched by the rains of affliction? Even the dessert blooms after a storm." | ||
