By April, all the figures should be tallied and Jim will give us the final figures at our April meeting, which, by the way, will be held one week earlier since some of us will be away at the World Orchid Congress[1] in Vancouver, B.C. So mark your calendar for April 20, 7:30 pm at WSU Mt. Vernon
Our best wishes go to Bonnie Christensen who had back surgery on February 5. Our best wishes also go to Dr. Carl Withner who was too ill to attend the NW Flower and Garden Show judging session.
I wish to thank Mike Williams and Sandy Faulkner for the fine display for MBOS; Rick Oosterwyk for providing the moss and John and Felicia Marshall for helping with the plant tags and arranging our display, and thanks to all who brought or sent plants for our display
Special Thanks go to the following members who served shifts in sales, accounting and or Orchid Hotel: Sandy Faulkner, Bellinda and Rick Oosterwyk, John and Felicia Marshall, Cathy and Matt Hernkind, Frank Thompson and Willis Coombs. Special Thanks to Abigail Chang and Michael Pearson for their active roles in the show and judging and to Jim Grant, Show Chairman[2].
