Shhhh....the fairy folk are afoot so watch your step and keep your eyes open and maybe you'll be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of thier world. I'de like to thank all those who allowed me to use and learn from information on thier sites and to gather it all on one place so I can share my knowledge of the wee folk and my great love I have for them. As time goes by and I more I will add on to this site dedicated to those wonderful little people.

signs of the fairy in our world: 1.faery fire:a green light or energy, that glows but does not burn, often seen in echanted places at night in summer. 2.Mists and shawdows:the vieled place between the physical world and the world of the fay. 3.Unexplained whispering of leaves 4.Getting goose bumps while alone in nature 5.Rippling of water not caused by fish 6.Uncontrollable laughter and being silly for no reason 7.The scent of flowers where there should be none. I'm sure there are more and as I learn them I will try and make sure they get added. If you know any and would like to share them please drop me a line. |

Fairy Anger:
Fairies can become angry with humans over treatment of their charges or nature in general. This may come out even if we personally very in tune with nature as the fairy may need to vent their feelings. However I have found this anger not to last very long provided that it is plain to see that we are in true sympathy with the way they feel.Sometimes you will enter a part of the wood or wildreness and feel this anger as an atmosphere that says leave now or keep out . Unless there is something really nasty there, just sit there quietly and you attune with loving intent, and helpfulness, you will feel it change and be a much more welcoming feeling all over they may even ask for your help if they feel there is something you can do.Fairy pinches are a well known expression of their impatience or anger. The majority of fairy's are know to be just and fair and only punish those who they feel offended them or neglected thier house or animals.
Fay Holidays: March 15th:ides of march the festival of water nymphs and faery's
August 7th:Lammas Tide faery hills and dwellings are revealed and rise above ground on greatn pillars ans shine with light as they go trooping off to nearby hills.
September 29th and November 8th:Gwynn ap Nudd The lord of the faeries opens the doors that stand between our world and the faery realm
November 11th:Hollantide The day of Lunantishees, the faery festival of the spirits who guard the sacred blackthorn trees.
These are some days that are significant for working with the Fay if you know of any I have missed please let me know so I can add them. |
