“The Organizing Committee for Venezuela
Relief” is formed by Venezuelans, all residents of the Lower Mainland who came together as a group in mid-December 1999 following the catastrophe in Venezuela. Our group has joined efforts in fundraising with other organizations like the
Canadian Red
Cross Society. We have also organized collections centers and intend to send a container with priority item donations to Venezuela.”
All the proceeds of every fundraiser will be donated to the "Canadian Red Cross Venezuela Flood Relief Fund"
to alleviate the suffering of hundreds of thousands of victims who have lost their families and have remained homeless following the floods and mudslides in several regions of the country during the week of December 15, 1999.
On behalf of The Organizing Committee for
Venezuela Relief (Comité Organizador de Ayuda a Venezuela) we extend our gratitude for your support and generous donation/contribution to
this cause.
