The mother of Wayne's children-Angie, Blake, and Steffi-is Peggy Joy Woods, born July 14, 1945. Since their divorce, Peggy has married Dennis Peck and lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Peggy has a twin sister, Betty Gay, and two older sisters, Martha and GeDelle. Betty was married to Jack Wilson. Her children were: Dink, Bo, and Trey Taylor. Their father was Sonny Taylor. Dink's wife is Carla and their children are Allan and Casey. Trey's wife is Kelley and their son is Harrison. Bo isn't married.
Martha's husband is Gobel Reed and her son is Ronnie Wayne. Ronnie's wife name isn't available now, but their children are Cody Blake and Wayne.
GeDelle's husband is Dean Cagle and her sons are Michael and Derek.
Peggy's parents are Angleline Martin and Oscar Lloyd Woods who lived in Gadsden, Alabama. Oscar was born March 25, 1907 and died May 1975. Nell was born December 23, 1913 and died April 18, 1997.
Oscar's parents were Charles and Polly Ann Woods (don't know Polly's maiden name or if she had siblings). Charles had a sister-Lizie, and brothers-Homer and Cliff.
Besides Oscar, Charles and Polly's children were: John David (born 11/20/1900 and died 12/1970), Jim, Bill, Mable, Nannie Jackson, Janie Pankey, Georgie, and Burma Lindsey.
Jim's children were: Charles, twin boys and a girl. Mabel's children were: Jessie, Kenneth, Louise, and Betty J. Nannie's child was Billy. Janie's child was Ronald. Georgie's children were: Brenda and Ken. Burma's child was Tommy his wife was Gloria and their son was Charles.
Nell's siblings were Boyd Clifton (everybody called him Frankie). and Bessie Lee. Nell's parents were General Marion Martin (that was his name not a title) and Olivia Stott.
General's siblings were Jasper (born 9/28/07 and died 4/1978), Monroe, John, and Jerry. Jasper's children were Carrie, Dewey, and Riley. Monroe's children were Arthur, CB, Alston, Annie B. and Willie B., and Marie. John's children were Joseph, Edna, Jewel, and Essie. Jerry's children were Cecil, Felton, Gene, Aubie, and Adell.
Olivia's siblings were Marcus (born 11/13/1886 and died 7/1972), Richard, Ira, and Ethel. No other info on Olivia is available.

Angie and Blake's biological father is Kenneth Godfrey. He and Peggy also lived in Gadsden, Alabama when they were growing up. They were older and had finished Gadsden High before me so, I didn't know them from high school. I met them later.
My stepmother, Millie, knew Ken's mother and we had run into Ken and Peggy when they were still married. After they were divorced, Millie wanted me to date Ken. I resisted at first.
I liked to dance and I met Ken when I was out one night. He called me and we began dating. He was lots of fun! For my birthday, he even baked a cake for me!!
That was the summer after I finished college and before I began teaching. When school began, I had a job in another town. I moved there and lost contact with Ken.
