The Kimbell line begins with Mary Elizabeth Kimbell who was married to Robert Clark Chappell. I'm trying to find a record of Bob serving in the War Between the States. Mary was born April 22, 1827 in Georgia and died March 1, 1907 in Fyffe, Alabama. Her parents were Christopher Kimbell and Mary "Polly" Waters.
Christopher Kimbell was born in North Carolina and married Polly Waters October 23, 1819 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. His parents were David Kimbell and Jane Bell. Christopher served his country in the first Seminole War so I'm going to join the Daughters of Indian Wars under Christopher.
David Kimbell was born in 1749. He married Jane Bell in Warren County, North Carolina. David is the Revolutionary Soldier under which I joined DAR. He died in 1838 in Henry County, Georgia. His parents were Benjamin Kimbell and Lucy Ransom.
Benjamin was born in 1730 in Brunswick County, Virginia. He died in Warren County, North Carolina in 1794. Benjamin was also possibly served in the Revolution.
I haven't been able to prove any further back. But I have assumptions. Any further information is appreciated.
